London Terrariums - New Shop
On a rather soggy July Saturday afternoon there was a ray of sunlight and greenery at 106a New Cross Road, with the opening of London Terrariums brand new shop.
Born from a passion and fascination in plants and horticulture, and originally making the terrariums as much loved gifts (we are the proud owners of "The Demijohn" at fte). Emma Sibley has grown quite the Terrarium empire; with regular workshops all over london, a successful online shop and now the cherry on the cake, their small but perfectly formed shop.
Emma is also a Freedom To Exist ambassador and was wearing her fte3012 watch in Nougat and Rose gold; which completed her colour coordinated outfit for the evening.
Interior designed by one of Emma's old studio neighbours Isabel & Helen and originally inspired by a fashion photo (you can see this in one photo).
So much to see in such a cleverly designed space, from terrariums (of course) to a selection of books, watering cans and other green fingered accoutrements. We loved the "terrarium cutlery" by Slow Split.
The hand painted sign by Bellaspace is still to be hung; but I'm sure this little treasure will be around for many years to come; a much recommended spot to visit for all your micro planting needs.
